Human Rights

Prozinco fully endorses the statements:

Human Rights are inalienable.

Human Rights are universal.

and establishes the following guidelines as its Human Rights Policy:

Respect Human Rights in all communities where it operates, taking into account the specific context of each one;

Ensure that it is not complicit in abuses or violations of Human Rights;

Assess, identify, and monitor risks related to the loss of Labour Rights;

Not resort to any form of forced labour;

Comply with the legal working hours;

Not resort to child labour;

Respect workers’ freedom of association;

Ensure access to decent employment, with fair and equitable remuneration;

Not discriminate in any way, whether on the basis of Race, Gender, Religion, Politics, Sexual Orientation, Age, Language, Origin, Economic Situation, or other factors;

Ensure that recruitment complies with the ethical principles described in the code of ethics and conduct;

Provide equal opportunities to all employees;

Prevent any form of harassment of any kind;

Allow fair and impartial investigations into Human Rights abuses;

Value diversity as a means of enriching the company culture;

Seek to avoid adverse impacts from Human Rights violations, but, if these occur, mitigate them and, if necessary, allow for fair remedies;

Encourage transparency in disseminating these principles and train employees accordingly;

Promote the involvement of our suppliers in these practices, making acceptance of them a requirement for establishing business relationships;

Apply these principles even in locations where they are not mandatory;

Monitor our performance;

Promote continuous improvement by listening to stakeholders about our performance and opportunities for improvement.
