Prozinco fully endorses the statements:
Human Rights are inalienable.
Human Rights are universal.
and establishes the following guidelines as its Human Rights Policy:
✓ Respect Human Rights in all communities where it operates, taking into account the specific context of each one;
✓ Ensure that it is not complicit in abuses or violations of Human Rights;
✓ Assess, identify, and monitor risks related to the loss of Labour Rights;
✓ Not resort to any form of forced labour;
✓ Comply with the legal working hours;
✓ Not resort to child labour;
✓ Respect workers’ freedom of association;
✓ Ensure access to decent employment, with fair and equitable remuneration;
✓ Not discriminate in any way, whether on the basis of Race, Gender, Religion, Politics, Sexual Orientation, Age, Language, Origin, Economic Situation, or other factors;
✓ Ensure that recruitment complies with the ethical principles described in the code of ethics and conduct;
✓ Provide equal opportunities to all employees;
✓ Prevent any form of harassment of any kind;
✓ Allow fair and impartial investigations into Human Rights abuses;
✓ Value diversity as a means of enriching the company culture;
✓ Seek to avoid adverse impacts from Human Rights violations, but, if these occur, mitigate them and, if necessary, allow for fair remedies;
✓ Encourage transparency in disseminating these principles and train employees accordingly;
✓ Promote the involvement of our suppliers in these practices, making acceptance of them a requirement for establishing business relationships;
✓ Apply these principles even in locations where they are not mandatory;
✓ Monitor our performance;
✓ Promote continuous improvement by listening to stakeholders about our performance and opportunities for improvement.
