It has been completed and hand over to HCB the repair of the flood gates concrete of Cahora Bassa Dam.

The works started in 2017 and ended this Spring.

The intervention was made by removing the surface concrete layer where it was loose, repair of the steel reinforcement, resurface with special materials and final painting for surface protection.

This work will allow the protection of the flood gates structure and its operation in perfect safety conditions throughout many years.
